A puppy was left for sale in a cage outside a business in Depew on Tuesday morning.

The owner of Lancaster Plumbing, where the dog was abandoned, explained that he had agreed to let workers bring the dog to the property but did not expect it to be left outside in a cage. He was unaware of the dog's condition until later. The business owner has since brought the puppy inside and reunited it with one of its littermates.

The owner is now taking care of the dogs and addressing the situation, despite not having permission from the original dog owner. He also asked people to stop calling or showing up at the shop with threats, clarifying that he never intended for the dogs to be treated this way.
