Ribbet, a courageous Labrador Retriever puppy, has overcome life-threatening injuries and is now ready for a new chapter.
The 2-month-old pup from Massachusetts was severely injured in a dog attack last month, which led to the loss of both of his eyes and a fractured skull. After emergency surgery and extensive care, Ribbet has made a remarkable recovery and has been cleared for adoption. The veterinary team at Second Chance Animal Services confirmed his injuries have healed, and he is ready for a new home.
Ribbet had initially been adopted in November but was rehomed in violation of the adoption agreement, leading to the attack. He is now living with a foster family who has decided to adopt him. Second Chance CEO Sheryl Blancato praised Ribbet’s resilience and the community’s support throughout his recovery.
