Three Labrador puppies who were abandoned in a wooded area of Havre de Grace, Maryland, have all been adopted, according to the Humane Society of Harford County.
After recovering from neglect, the puppies showed happy, playful personalities during meet-and-greets with potential adopters. Once they became available, they were adopted within an hour following overwhelming public interest, including hundreds of calls from prospective owners.
The shelter hopes this enthusiasm will extend to the 70–80 other dogs currently in their care. While the investigation into their abandonment continues, the Humane Society reminds the public that they accept unwanted pets with no questions asked and offer support to owners struggling to afford pet care.
