A dog named Dagger was rescued by emergency crews in Raleigh, North Carolina, after falling 10 to 15 feet into a storm drain on Laurel Glen Drive.
Around 2 p.m. Saturday, Raleigh firefighters and Wake County Animal Control used a tripod hoisting system with pulleys and ropes to safely lift the medium-sized shepherd mix out. Within minutes, Dagger was freed and reunited with his family. Officials say he is doing well.
