Police in Nevada have rescued 114 dogs from an overcrowded RV following a months-long animal abuse investigation, with two suspects now facing over 100 charges.
Authorities began investigating Giustino Laudanda and Michelle Santos after repeated complaints about noise and foul odors. After Laudanda was evicted, officers later found dozens of dogs packed inside the RV during two searches.
In total, 114 dogs were removed, including one newborn litter. The animals are being cared for by the City of Mesquite Animal Shelter and are being held as evidence while the case proceeds.
