A missing dog in Kentucky has been reunited with his owner after spending four days stranded on a narrow ledge following a 65-foot fall from a cliff near Miller Ridge.

The rescue began when the dog's owner heard faint barking coming from the cliffside and called the Wolfe County Search and Rescue Team for help. Rescuers carried out a high-angle rope operation to safely reach the frightened dog, secure him in a harness, and bring him back to safety.

The dog was successfully reunited with his relieved owner, and the search and rescue team praised its volunteers for their dedication and specialized training. “Every life matters, and we’re thankful this one made it home,” the team said.
