Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming in West Roxbury will host a dog adoption event with New England Great Dog Rescue on Sunday, Aug. 16, from 4–6 p.m.
Visitors can meet adoptable dogs and enjoy free treats and special discounts on grooming and training. Prospective adopters can also apply for pre-approval to take a dog home from the event.
The Meet and Greet will give prospective adopters an opportunity to meet local rescue dogs of different ages, breeds and sizes. Personal dogs will not be allowed inside the event.
