A South Florida family is fighting to get their dog, Lucy, back after the woman who agreed to care for her temporarily allegedly refused to return her.

The family says Lucy was only supposed to be boarded while they dealt with health and family difficulties. The boarder later claimed Lucy had become part of her family and intended to keep her. With no written agreement defining the arrangement, the dispute has now moved into legal territory.
