The Cuyahoga Falls Police Department in Ohio has welcomed Crosby, a full-time therapy dog who lives at the station 24/7, making him the first of his kind in the state.

Rescued from Florida and trained through K9s for Warriors, Crosby lives permanently inside the police department.

Crosby provides comfort and companionship to officers and staff dealing with the stresses of police work. He is also being trained to support crime victims, helping them feel calmer and more grounded when speaking with police.

A $170,000 grant funded a renovated courtyard for Crosby at the department.
