Dogs and their owners enjoyed a fun-filled celebration by the sea with a twist on traditional Easter festivities.
After a morning of beach cleanups, dogs got to enjoy a unique Easter egg hunt at the Russell Fields City Pier, hosted by Panama City Beach Parks and Recreation. More than 50 dogs and their owners took part, searching for eggs filled with treats, squeaky balls, and toys.
Organizers said the event brought dog lovers together for a fun and festive time. Panama City Beach Parks and Recreation will also host another dog-centered event, Paws in the Park, in October.
