Jericho, a dog found emaciated and trapped under a discarded couch in the "Corridor of Cruelty," was rescued just in time by Ja Nell Mitchell, a street feeder.

The dog was in critical condition and likely wouldn't have survived much longer without help. Despite severe injuries, including limited mobility in his left hind leg, Jericho shows a strong fighting spirit.

His name reflects his resilience, inspired by the biblical story of Jericho, as he's been through much but continues to fight. After being transferred to Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, everyone is hopeful for his recovery and future.
