A family in Raleigh, North Carolina, was joyfully reunited with their beloved dog, Charlie, two and a half years after he went missing.
Charlie, a blind senior dog and cherished companion, disappeared from their backyard in November 2022. The family launched an extensive search—even hiring a pet tracker—but were ultimately left grieving his loss. Then, in June 2025, a stray dog spotted in a Raleigh park turned out to be Charlie. After a social media post and a call to the original tracker, the connection was made.
Now 13, blind, and thin, Charlie is finally back with his family—who are overjoyed and ready to make up for lost time.
