A Missouri family has been reunited with their cocker spaniel, Tucker, nearly 11 months after he went missing in March 2025.

The family found out their senior dog had been located after a woman posted a photo of a dirty, matted stray on a Kirbyville lost-and-found Facebook page. Tucker’s owner recognized him the same day.

Despite his condition, Tucker was in surprisingly good health, weighing just one pound less than before he disappeared. The dog, who suffers from seizures, had no serious medical issues aside from dirt and fleas. The family says they never gave up hope and is encouraging others searching for lost pets to do the same.
