The Weston Public Library will host Read to Birdy the Therapy Dog on Monday, December 15, from 3:00 to 4:30 PM. Families can drop in from 3:00–3:30 PM to meet Birdy, a gentle therapy dog who is especially comforting for children nervous around dogs.
From 3:30–4:30 PM, students in Grades 1–4 may sign up on a first-come, first-served basis to practice reading with Birdy in the Children’s Picture Book Area.
