Therapy Dog for Young Readers

The Central Library in Somerville will host Therapy Dog for Young Readers on Thursday, December 18, from 3:30 to 5:00 PM in the Children’s Room. Children ages 4–11 can build confidence by reading aloud to Waffles, a certified therapy dog, in a calm and supportive setting. Each participant receives a 10-minute session, assigned after registration. Sign-ups open the Monday before the event and close Thursday morning.
