A trained service dog named Tatertot is helping 10-year-old Finn, who is on the autism spectrum, manage anxiety and daily challenges.

Placed through the nonprofit Canine Companions, Tatertot provides calming support through close presence and deep pressure therapy, including during stressful situations such as medical visits.

During a recent dental appointment, the dog lay across Finn to help him stay calm throughout the procedure.

The family says Tatertot has become a steady source of comfort and support in Finn’s daily life.
