A bonded pair of rescue dogs that recently went viral has found a forever home together. Bird, a Chihuahua-pug mix, and Dee, a German Shepherd, were adopted by a family of four after capturing attention online for their close relationship.
The dogs were found together near a Chicago rail line and taken in by Anti-Cruelty. Shelter staff said the pair formed a strong bond during their time together, with Bird often seen curled up beside Dee for comfort and safety.
Anti-Cruelty had been searching for a family willing to adopt both dogs together, and officials confirmed Thursday that the pair had been adopted by a loving home.
