The NHL’s “Stanley Pup” rescue dog competition is returning for its third year, continuing its playful “puppy power” tradition during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The 90-minute special features all 32 NHL teams each represented by an adoptable rescue dog competing in lighthearted hockey-themed challenges on a miniature rink. The event also includes celebrity appearances, broadcasters, and NHL players, along with new adoption-focused segments highlighting dogs that have found forever homes through the program.
This year’s edition continues its mission of promoting pet adoption and showing the real-life impact of rescue efforts while entertaining hockey fans during the playoffs.
