Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office celebrated the graduation of a new class of therapy dogs trained to support victims and first responders across South Florida.
In a video shared by the sheriff’s office, the rescued dogs and their handlers marked the completion of their specialized training program and the start of their public service roles.
The dogs, rescued through Big Dog Ranch Rescue, completed training and will now serve with several agencies, including the Jupiter Police Department and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. Officials said the dogs will provide emotional comfort and support to victims, emergency personnel and members of the South Florida community as they begin their new roles in public service.
