The Nebraska Humane Society recently welcomed back dozens of former shelter dogs for a special “Furmily Reunion,” giving adopted pets a chance to reunite with shelter staff and fellow alumni.
Held at Omaha Dog Bar, the event celebrated successful adoptions while allowing families to show how their dogs have thrived in their new homes. The gathering also served as a fundraiser supporting the Humane Society’s ongoing animal care and adoption programs.
Organizers said the reunion was a joyful opportunity to reconnect with former shelter pets and highlight the lasting impact of adoption.
