The inspiring story of Ethan, a Kentucky rescue dog who survived severe abuse and helped inspire stronger animal cruelty laws, is set to become a feature film.
Ethan, a Presa Canario rescued in 2021 by Jeff Callaway, was given only a 10% chance of survival after being found abandoned and near death. His recovery captured widespread attention and helped lead to the passage of Ethan's Law, which made aggravated animal abuse a Class D felony in Kentucky.
Production on Ethan Almighty recently wrapped after filming at locations across Kentucky. The film follows Ethan’s journey, his bond with Callaway, and the advocacy efforts that grew from his story.
