The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio has welcomed a new four-legged recruit. Annie, an eight-week-old bloodhound puppy, is being trained to become a tracking K-9.

Annie’s primary role will be to track people, including missing children, individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, and suspects who flee crime scenes. Her natural tracking abilities make bloodhounds particularly valuable when officers need to follow a person’s scent and determine where they may have gone.
