A Pennsylvania man suffered severe burns after rushing back into his burning RV to rescue his beloved dog, Dolly.
Samuel Byler, 59, escaped the flames but realized his dog was still trapped inside. Despite being injured, he re-entered the vehicle, managed to rescue Dolly and carried her to safety.
Both survived, but Byler suffered third-degree burns and spent 11 days in the hospital. The fire destroyed his RV, leaving him without a home. Months later, he is still working to rebuild his life and find a safe place where he and Dolly can live together. For Byler, saving his dog was never a question. He just couldn't leave her behind.
