A Wisconsin bride’s dog became the unexpected star of her wedding after a GoPro captured the celebration from his perspective.

Emily Cowles and her husband, Josh, married Aug. 22 in Door County, Wisconsin, with their 5-year-old sheepadoodle, Swayze, by their side.

Cowles shared the footage online, where it quickly went viral, attracting millions of views and attention from outlets including People and Good Morning America. One of the most touching moments shows Swayze spending time with Cowles’ 91-year-old grandmother.

While Cowles has enjoyed the viral attention, she said the candid moments captured by Swayze mean the most. The footage, she said, will allow the couple to cherish memories of their loved ones—and Swayze—for years to come.
