A dog named Flor has been reunited with her family 12 years after going missing in Illinois and being found in Indiana.
Flor disappeared in Chicago when she was just 4 years old after her owner, Vanessa Antonino, left her in a car while she went to work. The breakthrough came when Flor was recently found along roads in Gary, Indiana, after severe weather hit the area. She was taken to an animal control facility, where volunteers from Microchip Hunters discovered that she had a microchip.
After more than a decade apart, Flor was transported back to Evanston, where she was reunited with her family. Her emotional reunion marked an incredible end to a 12-year search.
