Dozens of Great Danes gathered at Friendship Village Healthcare Center on Saturday to fulfill a hospice patient’s wish for a visit from the beloved breed.

Angie Pierce, a longtime Great Dane owner who can no longer keep dogs due to cancer, expressed a desire to see the gentle giants once more. In response, Regal Dane Rescue partnered with AZ Dane Army to organize a surprise visit.
