A Mississippi couple's eight Yorkshire Terriers are going viral for an unusual favorite activity: chasing remote-control cars across open fields.
Owners Kirkland and Gretchen Garbett say the dogs’ enthusiasm comes from the breed’s natural instinct to chase small moving objects. As soon as they spot an open field, the excited Yorkies begin barking in anticipation of the chase.
Though small in size, the energetic dogs race after the remote-control car as a team, sprinting across fields and working together to “catch” their target. What started as a creative way to keep the pups active has become a heartwarming display of their speed, teamwork, and playful personalities.
