A home break-in took an unexpected turn when a golden retriever named Nash appeared to welcome the alleged intruder with toys.
The man reportedly entered the home through an upstairs window and spent about 30 minutes inside, eating food and even taking a nap. Meanwhile, 90-pound Nash approached him several times, bringing toys as if inviting him to play.
Police later arrested the suspect in the backyard after he tried to escape through a bathroom window. Nash may not have acted like a typical guard dog, but his friendly reaction certainly made this an unusual break-in.
