An 18-year-old in Lyndonville, Vermont, is facing multiple charges after authorities say a social media video appears to show him abusing a puppy.

Police report the footage shows the teen holding an eight-week-old puppy, known as Bullet, before throwing the animal out of frame. Officers say the puppy survived and will undergo a veterinary evaluation.
