A stray dog that became a viral sensation after leading workers on a wild chase across the Naples Airport tarmac has officially found a forever home.
The adventurous pup was safely captured by airport staff on the airfield without causing any operational disruptions, and was subsequently taken to a local animal shelter. Fate intervened when a local family, who had seen the dramatic escape footage on social media, visited the shelter and realized they were looking at the very same runway wanderer.
The family immediately decided to adopt the pup and appropriately named him Jet. Local community members stepped in to cover his adoption fees, capping off an unforgettable journey from airport trespasser to beloved family pet.
