A “Read to Murphy the Dog” program will be held on Tuesday, June 30, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Nevins Library in Methuen, MA, offering children and teens ages 5–18 the opportunity to practice reading aloud to a therapy dog in a supportive setting. Each participant will receive a short, scheduled reading session with Murphy, who provides a calm, nonjudgmental audience designed to help build confidence and reading skills, particularly for anxious readers.
