The Memorial Classic Cluster dog show brought more than 200 breeds to the Lawrence County Fairgrounds in New Castle, Pennsylvania, during its six-day run over Memorial Day week.
The event, held May 19–25, attracted between 1,000 and 3,000 dog owners and handlers from across the U.S. and Canada for seven competitions. Judges evaluated dogs based on standards set by the American Kennel Club, awarding top placements in breed-specific and mixed-breed events.
Memorial Classic Cluster Chairperson Mark Kennedy said competitors often spend thousands on travel, breeding, and dog care, while organizers invest heavily in fairgrounds rental and event setup. Participants said the show also serves as a gathering place for dog lovers and breeders to connect over their shared passion for canine competition.
