A 16-year-old teacup Yorkshire Terrier named Ellie has returned home after disappearing in Warren, Michigan, on October 12, 2026. She was found six days later in critical condition.

Ellie disappeared from her yard or driveway and was found after a good Samaritan brought her to a local veterinary clinic. Nearly blind and deaf, she suffered severe, apparent chemical burns covering large portions of her body. She is now recovering at home with her owners and her sister dog, Lola.
