Dog Reunited With Owner After Going Missing for Eight Years

A Kentucky family is celebrating an emotional reunion after a dog named T was found eight years after he went missing.

T disappeared when his owner, Ayden Clevidence, was just 10 years old. Despite months of searching and calls to local shelters and veterinarians, the family eventually feared they would never see him again.

That changed in May 2026, when the Calloway County Animal Shelter contacted Ayden’s mother after finding a black-and-brindle dog near the Calloway-Marshall county line. A microchip scan identified him as T, whose original name was Terrell.

Now 10 years old, T quickly settled back in with the family. He and 18-year-old Ayden have been inseparable since their reunion, showing that eight years apart couldn’t break their bond.
