Eight Puppies Find Forever Homes After Rescue From Kentucky Hoarding Case

Lexington,
KY -

Eight puppies rescued from a Lexington animal hoarding case have found permanent homes after being removed from severe neglect earlier this year.

Authorities discovered the puppies and 11 other animals living in unsanitary conditions in January. The dogs suffered from health problems and poor socialization, according to animal control officials.

Three people connected to the case were later found guilty of animal cruelty-related violations. After months of treatment and rehabilitation, all eight puppies have now been adopted and are reportedly thriving with their new families.

Officials say the case underscores the importance of reporting suspected animal neglect and hoarding situations.
