
A missing-child search ended safely after a specially trained police dog helped officers locate the child in Cook County, Illinois.
K9 AJ, a member of the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, and her handler, Officer Joshua Johnson, responded to a report of a missing juvenile. AJ was put to work using her specialized scent-tracking abilities to help officers determine where the child had gone.
The operation ultimately ended with the child being found safely, bringing a positive conclusion to what could have been a frightening situation for the child’s family.
