Louisville Metro Police Department K9 Ringo is making headlines after an impressive start on the job in Kentucky.
The 2-year-old Belgian Shepherd has been working alongside officers to help combat drug trafficking.
In his first 10 weeks, Ringo helped authorities seize more than 56 pounds of illegal drugs, highlighting the important role K9 teams play in law enforcement. Ringo was donated and trained with support from the Kentucky Colonels. His work is already making a significant contribution to drug-interdiction efforts in Louisville.
