K9 Garden, a dog park and social venue in St. Louis, Missouri, will permanently close on October 31, 2026, after just 10 months in operation.
The business announced the decision on Friday, citing operating costs that exceed its revenue. Despite strong community support, K9 Garden said it could no longer afford to operate at a loss. The venue opened in January, offering a space where dogs could play while their owners enjoyed food, drinks and social events.
K9 Garden plans to maintain regular hours and honor scheduled events through its final day. It also said outstanding vendor accounts will be paid in full and annual members will receive credit for unused prepaid membership time.
