Outdoor enthusiasts and dog lovers have a new resource for exploring New England’s trails together.
A new guidebook, “Dog Hiking New England,” by Jill McMahon and Kristen Valenti, explores 45 beautiful dog friendly trails across the region. Each hike is carefully selected for its scenery, accessibility, and welcoming attitude toward pups, most ranging from an easygoing three to six miles.
From peaceful woodland paths to refreshing spots like Blueberry Mountain in Stow, complete with a magical waterfall and swim worthy pool, these trails are all about simple joy, fresh air, and wagging tails. And the best part? You don’t even need a dog to enjoy the journey.
