A Pomeranian named Odin is safe after getting his head stuck in a metal dog gate in Brevard County, Florida, with video of the rescue quickly going viral online.
Owner Taeli Trounbly discovered the dog trapped Wednesday night and was unable to free him despite several attempts. She then called 911, prompting a rapid response from Brevard County Fire Rescue. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to carefully spread the gate and safely release Odin, who was not injured.
Trounbly later shared footage of the rescue on TikTok, where it has garnered millions of views. She said the video resonated with viewers due to its lighthearted, happy ending. The owner later visited the fire station to thank the crew, praising their quick response and gentle care for her dog.
