Shelton was finally reunited with his beloved Boston Terrier, Baeya, after more than three years apart, in a moment full of tears and joy.

The dog had been stolen from his porch in July 2022, and despite countless flyers, false leads, and even a business featuring her image, Shelton never gave up hope.

In March 2026, a friend spotted an Instagram post from the animal rescue group Wags and Walks, leading to the emotional reunion. Baeya, briefly renamed Kit at a shelter, had narrowly avoided adoption just in time for her photo to be shared online.

Overjoyed, Shelton thanked everyone who helped and is now focused on helping Baeya readjust to life at home, calling her “the first love of my life.”
