Known for his regular visits to patients at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital, Vido has become a familiar and comforting presence, helping reduce stress and provide emotional support to both patients and staff. His efforts have earned him “dog of the year” recognition, underscoring his impact in therapeutic care.
His appearance also highlighted the growing role of therapy animals in healthcare and was tied to a fundraiser for Pet Partners, raising awareness and support for animal-assisted programs.
