Cotton, a senior dog from South Carolina, has found a happy new beginning after a heartbreaking goodbye.
After a family member was diagnosed with cancer, Cotton was surrendered to the Greenville Humane Society, leaving behind a family he had been part of for six years. His story touched hearts worldwide after the shelter received emotional goodbye letters written by the family’s children.
Thankfully, Cotton has officially been adopted by a new owner, whose neighborhood is already preparing a special celebration to welcome him home.
