A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of whoever abandoned a senior dog named Ozzy at Osbornedale State Park in Derby, Connecticut.
Ozzy was found by a passerby on October 27. According to Shelton Animal Control, the dog was in extremely poor condition, with severely overgrown nails that made walking difficult. He is now receiving veterinary care at an emergency animal hospital in Shelton.
Desmond’s Army Animal Law Advocates is offering the $5,000 reward to help identify those responsible. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Shelton Animal Control at 203-924-2501.
