A German Shepherd found tethered to a concrete block on a residential street after a storm has been reunited with its family, Oregon police said.
Officers responded early May 13 after reports of the stranded dog, freeing it and taking it to a shelter. A neighbor who found the animal gave it food and water while waiting for police.
Investigators later determined the dog had escaped during a storm while still tethered. The animal was reunited with its owners after being taken to the Marion County Animal Shelter.
