One family in Teutopolis, Illinois, is celebrating after being reunited with their 15-year-old Corgi following an EF3 tornado that destroyed their home Wednesday night.
Connie and Jeff Baker survived the storm, but their dog Winnie went missing in the aftermath. Early Thursday morning, Todd Waldhoff, an Illinois Department of Transportation worker, found Winnie alive under the rubble with only a minor scratch.
The Waldhoffs cared for the senior dog until she was reunited with her family. While grateful to have Winnie back, the Bakers continue searching for two missing cats following the devastating storm.
