A missing 12-year-old boy was safely found in Lake County, Illinois, after an extensive search involving local authorities and K9 Loki.

The boy had been missing for more than four hours, prompting deputies to search the area around Zion. Loki played a key role in the search. After picking up the boy’s scent from a shoe, the sheriff’s K9 followed the trail through a wooded area and eventually led deputies to a thick bush, where they found the child hiding.
