Nearly 300 dogs made a splash in Nevada this week, as Doodlepalooza 2026 set a new Guinness World Record for the largest dog pool party.
A total of 296 poodle mixes and their families gathered Sunday at Cowabunga Canyon Vegas water park for a day of swimming and play.
The event surpassed the previous record of 276 dogs, set by Chewy in Coral Gables, Florida, in May 2026. A Guinness World Records adjudicator was on hand in Nevada to officially confirm the new record. Held during National Dog Week, the gathering also supported Doodle Rescue USA, raising awareness and funds for dogs in need of rescue, foster care and permanent homes. Organizers said the event was about more than breaking a record—it was also a celebration of dogs and a way to support rescue efforts.
