Washington Nationals have introduced Natty, an 8-week-old Golden Retriever–Labrador mix, who will make his MLB debut at Nationals Park during Friday’s game against the Orioles.

Natty, selected through a fan naming vote, is one of six siblings being trained for future service roles in partnership with Canine Companions. He will spend time around players, staff, and fans while learning basic obedience. After 18 months of training followed by specialized instruction, he will be placed as a service animal for someone in need.
